This page is for the Plantora app. It explains how to delete your Plantora account and the data in it, and what happens to that data.
Delete it in the app
This is the quickest way. It takes effect straight away.
- Open Plantora and sign in.
- Go to Settings and tap Deactivate Account.
- Tap Delete everything now.
- Type DELETE to confirm.
- Your account and its data are deleted, and you are signed out.
If the app asks you to verify the code we emailed you, sign in again, enter the code, then repeat these steps.
Not sure yet? Choose Deactivate for 30 days instead. It hides your account and keeps your data for 30 days. Sign in again within 30 days to bring it back; after 30 days it is deleted automatically.
Or ask us by email
If you cannot sign in, or no longer have the app, email admin@plantora.info from the email address on your account. Put “Delete my Plantora account” in the subject and include your username. We may ask you to confirm it is you before we delete anything. We delete the account and its data within 30 days of confirming, and we reply when it is done.
What deleting removes
- Your sign-in, profile, username and account record.
- Your garden: plants, care tasks, seed trays and propagation logs, and the photos you added to your plants and seed trays.
- Your posts (Bloom videos and Explore photos) with their likes, reposts and comments, and the videos and photos themselves.
- Stories you posted in the last 24 hours, when they expire within a day.
- Your marketplace listings and their photos. A listing with an order still in progress is hidden until that order is finished.
- Your saved delivery addresses, including any location pin.
- Your Flora conversations, the photos you sent her, and what she remembers about you.
- Reviews you wrote, and the photos in them.
- Who you follow, who follows you, and your block list.
- Your cart and your wishlist.
- Your Instagram connection and the photos synced from it.
- Your notifications and your support attachments.
- If you have a business account, the verification documents you uploaded: your commercial registration, your signature and your Civil ID or passport.
What stays
- Comments you left on other people’s posts stay, shown as “Deleted User” with no photo or username.
- Direct messages you sent stay in the conversation for the people you wrote to.
- Orders you placed stay in the seller’s records, because they need them for their own accounts. Once an order is delivered or cancelled, your name, phone number, delivery address and location pin are removed from it. An order that is still on its way keeps them until then, so the seller can deliver it. The items, prices, status and dates stay.
- If you had a Company Shop, it is taken off the marketplace, but its record (business name, registration number and contact details) stays, because customers’ orders and reviews point to it.
- Likes you gave other people’s posts stay in their counts, without your name.
- Notifications other people received because of what you did, such as a like, expire on their own within about 30 days.
- Support tickets and bug reports you sent us stay with our support records.
- Records we must keep by law, or need to prevent fraud (for example order, dispute, moderation and report records), and anything other people have already saved or shared.
