Business Account Disclaimer
By upgrading your account from Personal to Business and submitting your Commercial Registration (CR) and related documents, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
1. Verification, not endorsement. Plantora's review of your CR, trade license, and signatory documents is a basic administrative check for account setup purposes only. It does not constitute verification of your business's legitimacy, financial standing, product quality, or compliance with Kuwaiti law, and is not an endorsement or guarantee by Plantora.
2. Confidentiality of submitted documents. Any documents, photos, or personal details you submit for business verification (including your Commercial Registration, authorized signature, and Civil ID/passport) are stored securely and used solely for verification purposes. Plantora will not use, share, sell, or disclose these documents to any third party, and will not use them for any purpose other than reviewing and confirming your business account application.
3. Sole responsibility of the business account holder. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the documents you submit, the legality of your business activities, the products/services you list, and all interactions, transactions, and communications with customers conducted through your account.
4. No liability for seller conduct. Plantora is not a party to any transaction between you and your customers. Plantora is not liable for any fraud, misrepresentation, breach of contract, defective goods, non-delivery, or other misconduct by a business account holder toward customers, and is not liable for any resulting customer complaints, chargebacks, disputes, or legal claims.
5. Legal disputes. Any legal action, claim, or regulatory action arising from your business activity — including from customers, government authorities, or third parties — is between you and that party. Plantora bears no responsibility and will not be named as a liable party for such disputes, and you agree to indemnify Plantora against any losses, damages, or legal costs arising from your business conduct.
6. Right to suspend or terminate. Plantora reserves the right to suspend or terminate a business account, without liability, if it receives credible reports of fraud, illegal activity, or repeated customer complaints.
7. Continued compliance. Holding a business account does not relieve you of your obligations under Kuwaiti commercial, consumer protection, or e-commerce law. You remain fully responsible for maintaining a valid CR and any other required licenses for as long as you operate as a business on Plantora.
